As part of our cooperation with the Ernst-Sigle-Gymnasium, two grade 8 classes visited us this week on the topic of product development.
The classes have the task of developing a “pen holder”. With the practical example of a laser system for marking drum cymbals, the students got an insight into the development of a product, starting with the enquiry, through specifications and requirements to the hardware and software concept, construction and presentation of the finished solution. With this educational partnership and the events we hold together, we show students perspectives. It is a very successful concept for recruiting skilled workers and every year we are pleased to receive numerous applicants for our vacant apprenticeship places. We are even more pleased about the very high rate of our apprentices being taken on.
