One laser system for completely different laser processes. ACSYS’s patent pending quick-change system can do it. The laser is controlled by a galvanometer scanner, and marking optics (f-theta, flat field optics, telecentric optics) or a laser cutting head can be installed.
Corrosion-resistant, reading-angle-independent black marking.
In the marking mode, the system allows corrosion-free laser marking on stainless steel. Black marking is not dependent on reading angle. Ideal for UDI markings on surgical or medical devices. High-contrast, “white” surface markings that are very easy to read can be produced on glass or sapphire surfaces.
Laser engraving of the highest surface quality without melting burrs.
The quick, burr-free laser engraving with the highest in surface quality is what sets the ultra-short pulse laser apart. The USP laser enables functional microstructures on various materials, finest 3D laser engravings of embossing stamps and jewellery, or high-precision removal of thin, conductive oxide, anti-reflective/nitride, or metal layers used in thin-film or silicon solar cells.

From 24 – 27 June 2019 the new PIRANHA μ PICO and the brand new PIRANHA from ACSYS with picosecond fiber laser will be presented to the trade public.

The new PIRANHAµ PICO has been specially developed for high-precision applications. At the LASER World of PHOTONICS we will show the system with a current picosecond laser. Alternatively, the PIRANHAµ can also be equipped with a femtosecond laser (PIRANHAµ FEMTO).
The PIRANHAμ PICO is also able to be equipped as a dual laser system with a second laser source. With a footprint of less than 2.5 square meters, the laser system solution is extremely compact and flexible. The structure of the PIRANHAμ PICO consists of an extremely temperature-stable and low-vibration granite design that enables an axis positioning accuracy of +- 10µm.

The all new PIRANHA Roboshift – Flexible and dynamic pick up, processing and storing. These are the core topics of this automated laser processing system. At the heart of the laser is a compact 6-axis robot with the approximate length and reach of a human arm. This enables highly flexible process automation in many industrial sectors. Whether laser marking, laser engraving, 3D laser engraving or a combination – the PIRANHA Roboshift offers universal automation and impresses with its high throughput and short cycle times. An ideal all-rounder for a wide variety of laser processing applications.

The PIRANHA cutis an entirely new development. A compact machine for sheet metal sizes up to 600 x 600 mm², a high contour accuracy and suitable for sheet thicknesses of up to 3 mm. The cutting systems are equipped with air-cooled fiber lasers of different power ratings depending on the required application and are suitable for laser burn cuttingand laser fusion cutting.
The new SHARK II cutcan process sheet sizes up to 1250 x 1250 mm. In addition, a program-controlled dividing head can be used as a fourth axis of rotation and a manually adjustable fifth axis for interpolated laser cutting. This allows the machining of round parts.
The BARRACUDA features a generously dimensioned and easily accessible work area and offers sufficient space for large or palletized workpieces. The vibration-free machine bed, which is made of vibration-inhibiting temperature-stable polymer concrete, is ideally suited to fulfilling all industrial requirements. Due to its flexible layout, the BARRACUDA is the ideal basis for customized solutions.
