As part of our cooperation with the Ernst-Sigle-Gymnasium, two grade 8 classes visited us this week on the topic of product development.
The classes have the task of developing a “pen holder”. With the practical example of a laser system for marking drum cymbals, the students got an insight into the development of a product, starting with the enquiry, through specifications and requirements to the hardware and software concept, construction and presentation of the finished solution. With this educational partnership and the events we hold together, we show students perspectives. It is a very successful concept for recruiting skilled workers and every year we are pleased to receive numerous applicants for our vacant apprenticeship places. We are even more pleased about the very high rate of our apprentices being taken on.

We congratulate our apprentices Celine Burk and Dominik Reichart on passing their final exams.
Both have shown excellent results in school and in practice during their apprenticeship. We are pleased that Celine and Dominik will continue to assist the ACSYS team and have been taken on as permanent employees.

A beautiful project for species protection according to the motto “Doing is like wanting – only better!”
We prepared the arrival of our bees with a lot of joy. The boxes were designed in a joint project with our apprentices. Yesterday it was finally time.
Three economic colonies and one bee offshoot, which is to develop into a economic colony, have moved into ACSYS. The project is accompanied by the bee manufactory. Over the next few weeks, we will be introduced to the life of bees and learn a lot of interesting facts. It is an absolute enrichment to be able to observe these so important animals at close quarters. And in the end, we might even be rewarded with our own honey.
