SHARK cut –
One cut ahead.
Laser cutting is easier and more effective today than ever. The beam shape of new fiber lasers allows for very precise cutting with flat joints for example of up to 100 μm for stainless steel 3 mm thick. The Gaussian beam and focus shape and correspondingly greater intensity in the focus ensure reliable cutting, even with highly reflective or heat-resistant materials.
The SHARK cut is unique due to its compact design and great flexibility, setting new standards in terms of those features. Automatic Distance control and high dynamic linear drives guarantees results shortly for sheet dimensions up to 850 x 1000 m².
Whether the application is intarsia, templates or parts cut to high-precision dimensions in any of numerous industries with AC LASER cutting systems and laser software from ACSYS, our customers are always one step ahead.

Processes
Laser fusion cutting
The melted material in the focal point of the
focused laser beam is removed by a gas directed
coaxially to the laser beam and a flat joint is
created.
Laser sublimation cutting
The transition of the material from steady in the
gaseous state happens almost directly
(sublimation), so without to be liquid in between.
Materials without distinctive glaze-liquid state are
the essential effect area of sublimate cutting,
whereas inorganic as well as organic materials
