BARRACUDA- based plastic welding works with a reversing rotary table and a pneumatic clamping device.
The transparent speedometer bezel and housing are fastened in place and welded within the machine within seconds. The welding system works without any material allowance or additives. A flexible output and pulse design makes it possible to generate special pulse shapes and pulse trains for special effects.

of purposes.
This example illustrates an innovation, plastic laser welding of speedometer bezels. This eliminates the need for screws, clamps or glue. The new fibre laser technology works with a very great focus depth. This also makes process-tolerant welding possible if the materials are different in thickness or are not perfectly plumb during the welding process.
