The PIRANHA turntable “Quadro” enables circumferential processing of four cylindrical parts in one workstep.

The rotary table offers the possibility for the user of loading and unloading the laser system during machining.
The NC-controlled integrated “Quadro” dividing head from ACSYS offers a maximum of productivity for circumferential laser processing of cylindrical work pieces.

The presented application are precision stainless steel valve bodies, which are labeled on the front and back.

Mechanical options:
- Rotary tact table with bracing for two working areas to load and unload workpieces during laser machining.
- Four workpiece carriers on NC-controlled swivels per working area for every workpiece on NC-controlled dividing head.
- Large optic (focal distance 254 mm; marking area 170x170mm²) allows synchronous marking of all pieces in one workstep.
- Workpieces will be marked on two different positions. Turning of the workpieces occur automatically by the software of ACSYS.

Customer values:
- Time saving: Loading and unloading during machining and automated marking on two sides.
- Cost saving: Fewer remakes/waste by semi-automatic processes. Barcode scanner compares order data and workpiece blank.
- Quality Improvement: Order data transfer from data base.
- Quality Improvement: Operator data, date of manufacture and serial number flow automatically into the marking for precise retraceability.

Staged under the motto of “Machine Tools & More”, the six-day event in Hannover featured the latest machinery, solutions and services for every conceivable aspect of metalworking – a veritable tour de force by some 2,037 exhibitors from 41 different nations.

ACSYS presented four laser system solutions to the professional audience.

This compact system, the OYSTER, provides an economical way to get started in laser marking.
The OYSTER has a modular structure, and will be equipped for the EMO with a 10 watt fiber laser.

The second system on site was the PIRANHA II Multi.
The PIRANHA is now available in four sizes, and like all other systems of ACSYS are also configured in modular manner.

Third laser system at the fair in Hannover was a BARRACUDA Multi.
The all-in-one from ACSYS with its generously dimensioned and easily accessible working area offers enough space for large or palletized workpieces.

The fourth laser processing system presented at the EMO, was the new 5-axis system BARRACUDAμ.
The unique 5-axis laser machining center from ACSYS specifically has been designed for µ range.

From Tuesday to Friday, there was a circle of selected clients and prospective customers for a Happy Hour with exotic cocktails and the finest laser technology on the booth.
