Impressive machine solutions from ACSYS deliver the greatest accuracy, precision and repeatability. Digitizing is based on the conoscopic holography method, allowing extremely precise 3D digital images of all surfaces, plaster models, dies or working directly from most different applications.

The resulting 3D fi le can be used for production and
reproduction and can be easily processed in the CAD software. The advantages of this non-contact method are high speed and small measuring grid distances. Absolute accuracy of 2 μm can be achieved with the replaceable lens system.

Conoscopic holography offers the greatest precision and repeatable accuracy over a wide range of applications.

The EAGLE EYE, the core of the EAGLE, is also available as a modular option in the laser processing systems of ACSYS.

PIRANHA®μ –
The perfect tool for the minting industry.

The PIRANHAμ was developed for the minting and high quality engraving industry.

 

The ACSYS laser minting industry specific machine was created with five solutions, to existing pressure points in the fi ne engraving industry and specifi c requirements of the coin producing industry in an extremely compact housing:

1. Digitizing:
Plaster models, embossing dies, coins, medals and other surfaces are scanned to reveal every detail, some which are not recognizable to the human eye.

2. 3D laser engraving:
Three-dimensional surface textures can be transposed on different materials, and directly on minting die stamps. 3. Micro engraving: Authenticity certifi cation in μ range.

4. Laser Frosting and surface structuring:
Selective frosting and new optical effects by precise structuring. ACSYS has invented a novel method and applied for patent to replicate exactly the sand blasting effect for surface frosting.

The unique 5-axis laser machining center from ACSYS has been designed for the μ range. A vibration-free granite bed, embedded in polymer concrete, is the basic requirement for the highest precision in laser processing. The special axes with glass scales are set in a granite portal to guarantee the highest accuracy in any position.

Wide-opening doors allow easy loading also by crane and setting up the laser system. The intuitive and efficient Laser Software Suite AC-LASER from ACSYS offers all the important tools for work in a homogeneous environment.
